BlindScanner Pro and BlindScanner Standard uses 8900 port to connect to the server. Please make sure that no other programs take this port, and it is not blocked by firewalls.

BlindScanner Pro since version 3.14 (10/06/2011) can use different port

To bind BlindScanner server to different port it is necessary to create Port key (DWORD) in Windows' registry

  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Masters ITC\BlindScannerSRV - if server installed as application
  • HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Masters ITC\BlindScannerSRV - if server installed as service
