Aug. 24 finalized the new release of Scanitto Pro 2.1 New version includes all the benefits of the previous version and includes some additional features. Special attention was given to the built-in optical character recognition (OCR). The program currently understands only English texts. Scanitto Pro allows you to denoise images, align them, to find out the location of text blocks and recognize them within three mouse clicks. If necessary, intuitive interface also offers adding or adjusting the blocks of text. After recognition, the text could be edited manually for each page and stored in the document format TXT or RTF. In addition to this necessary features of the new version, the work has been done to improve the interface and eliminate errors:
- Template of file name moved to the main form that allows more rapid initial setup
- Added ability to change the starting value for the sequence number
- Added configuration for JPEG, PDF and TIFF file formats
- Added a procedure to check the file name template
